This book also has two other contributors; Valentine and Toohey. These ladies have been involved in Type2 specifically for at let a total of approx. 50 yrs between them. The information is clear and precise and the jargon is in common language that the average person needs when they want plain answers and not so much medical jargon. This book goes into HOW insulin effects our bodies and the effect of Type2 will have on younger generations. I wish that I had this book when I was diagnosed in 07; it would have taken alot of the fear anduncertainty from my mind. I strongly suggest that if you are Type2..read this book.
