I have the 3rd edition and I have found it very informative as I am newly diagnosed T2.
This was the first book I read after being diagnosed. I didn't even know what questions to ask my Doctor until I had read it. My Doctor even commented at my next appointment by saying something along the lines of, "It looks like someone has been doing his homework." I highly recommend this rather inexpensive book for those newly diagnosed and for those who have questions about any aspect of diabetes.
I have this book and find it helpful.
