I'm glad this book was listed here. My neighbor's son has a copy. He is Type 1 and plays in several high school sports. It seems as if this year, several TV shows have done special stories about athletes and diabetes. Glad to see a book with good info.

This is the updated and expanded version of a great handbook by Sheri Colberg-Ochs, PhD — Associate Professor of Exercise Science & Adjunct Associate Professor of Internal Medicine in Norfolk, VA — and also a Type 1 diabetic herself.

Read it for all kinds of exercise smarts.
