I got this book at my local library and the copy they have is about ten years old. Even so, it is very informative in regards to the science of diabetes and still filled with much practical advice as well. The sections on insulin use and drugs for treatment we outdated but as I wrote, the library edition I got was an older one. I may purchase the revised and updated edition for my home library.
Just got it Today.
I would venture to say that this has been the most valuable book that I have read on diabetes…I bought his book "The Diabetes Diet" and I plan on purchasing this one as well because it is an excellent reference book.
This book has become my guide to normalizing my BG. It is a strict program, but it works if you put the effort in.
