Thanks for keeping it real. None of us are perfect and I have a sweet tooth also. There's so much to managing this disease that sometimes I take a break.

I love to go barefooted. Dispite all I kept doing it even after my feet got so dry and formed caluses. Then the calluses could not be taken off. Next they cracked open. It was like a gash. It would not close. After much grief and antibiodics it finally closed up. Now I gladly wear something on my feet. We,can get by with these things, but we only hurt ourselves. That is no laughing matter.

OMG I'm not alone lol!

I am bad about falling asleep at night and not checking my sugar. I am type 2.

My husband and daughter always help/reminds me about wearing socks and my slippers day and night. Hubby makes sure I have socks on before we go to sleep at night. So the only time I don't have something on my feet, is when I'm taking a shower Ü.

I LOVE M&M's!!! We have a jar that is always full of them.

Doritos!! Down fall for me as well. I grew up with my dad making doritos adding bean dip and topped with cheese. He then baked it for around 5 minutes. OMG they were so good. I have always made them this way for our family.

Question? You said at first you changed your lancets all the time. But now not so much. I have always put a new lancets in before checking my sugar. Isn't that what your supposed to do?

Thank you for sharing this with us.

I it was funny, (I love snickers)and informative. I just learned about not going barefooted a couple of days ago. Also, I was reminded to take my blood sugar level more often.
And as a plus, I do not feel as if I am in this alone. I am part of a community.
