When Your Diabetes is Just Too Expensive…

I realize there are a lot of folks out there struggling to pay for the basic supplies and medications they need to care for their diabetes. The high cost is one of the shittiest things about having this shitty disease, if you’ll excuse my candor.

This is Kooney: you are so right the cost of the Insulin is outrageous I can't afford it. one pen cost $265.00 w/out Insurance. I am disable I can't work and is barley affording living must lest Insulin
I can relate…The cost of everything is going up…including co payments for 4 different doctors…insurance cost up…now we have to worry about the gas to get to the Dr. just one more lottery ticket away
as for me im lucky enough to get state medacaid but every state is different and doesn't pay for all. plus i ger $162 in food stamps which is not enough to feed anyone is a diabetic.
